Based on education and training, nursing professionals fall into one of three
classifications. We can help you to determine which of them is appropriate for
your particular situation. All personnel are triple screened for health, references
and background.
Our personnel base includes:
Registered Nurses
Registered Nurses (RNs) administer prescribed medications, plan and provide
comprehensive individual care and exercise professional judgment in adapting
nursing measures to meet patients’ changing needs.
Licensed Practical Nurses
Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) perform selected tasks as ordered by a physician
under direct supervision of an RN. These tasks include administration of medications
and appropriate treatments.
Home Health Aide / Certified Nursing Assistant
Home Health Aides (HHAs) / Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) perform simple,
unskilled tasks under the supervision of an RN supervisor. These tasks include activities
of daily living such as meal preparation, blood pressure monitoring, personal services
(assist with bathroom needs, laundry, grocery shopping and errands), companionship,
help with ambulation and range of motion.
